But damn were the translations and timing off (for this scene, anyway.) From what little I can understand of Japanese, she’s saying something completely different from the NA version… ._. I mean, for the NA version, she does say this line, but she says it somewhere else. Not sure if the Japanese version says the line she says in English, though.
- Weiss’ little Death and Destruction speech sounds WAY more poetic in Japanese. xD;;;;;
- I always want to play my games in Japanese. ;_; Vincent sounds less impersonal in Japanese, somehow. ._. (I like Reeve’s and Weiss’ voices better in English, though.) And since everyone but me hates this game, I think it’s safe to day there will be no “Final Mix” “International” version with dual language tracks (International versions don’t normally have dual-languages tracks anyway, DestinZfaith.) I swear I’m one of the few people who can play a Compilation game without whining “whar r t3h charatcers from 7?!!!111one” I ~gasp~ actually like the original Compilation characters, ZOMFGBBQ.

As of now recently? eljay, mostly. You may have noticed a decrease in fic drabbles plotbunnies over here, because I’ve been posting to eljay instead, and can’t be bothered to crosspost. ^^;; FF.net has like, 8. dA has 6. Library Oblivion should have the full archive, but doesn’t. (Not until I re-make the layout and find a way to categorize the drabbles.) So yeah.
Lightning has 8 visible buckles, one zipper down her whole front and two on her miniskirt, and ten straps of some sort if you include the ones on her right arm.
Is this any surprise? It is Nomura, after all. x)
