“I’m Aerith.” I may be being entirely too critical and vindictive here
The VA gods have heeded our prayers and given Aerith a new VA. The problem is…she…well, the voice itself sounds pretty weird. And in the small clip I saw, she doesn’t sound playful at all, like, yanno, she should? Definitely way too monotone. :| If this is what they’re going to give us, we may as well have Suvari back, since they v-act the same way. -_- I hope the new VA gets better as the game goes on.
This actually makes me wonder if Sakamoto wasn’t a genius, since no one seems to be able to emulate her. :|
ETA: You know, the sheer number of people who think CC’s dub amazing just makes me wonder if I have the Japanese CC too much in mind (I just adore SuzuKen and Sakurai, I guess). Really. When I think about it; the CC dub isn’t exactly unimpressive. On the other hand, everyone raved about how good FF12′s, too, but I thought it could have been better. ._.
